Византийские имитации, бухархудатские и китайские монеты, обнаруженные в ходе последних археологических раскопок в Таразе (Южный Казахстан)

В статье представлены 35 иноземных монет, обнаруженных в ходе археологических раскопок на городище Тараз. Хронологический диапазон находок охватывает период с I по XIX в. и включает подражания византийским монетам, бухархудатские дирхемы, а также китайские монеты династий Хань, Тан, Северная Сун и Цин. Статья вносит вклад в реконструкцию международных связей региона на основе нумизматического материала. Методология исследования сочетает результаты крупномасштабных археологических раскопок (2014–2017 гг.), типологическую классификацию монет и сравнительный историко-географический анализ. Общепринято, что иноземные монеты не участвовали в локальном денежном обращении, а, вероятнее всего, использовались как средство накопления стоимости, товар, а также могли отражать перемещение людей. Среди ключевых результатов детальная публикация брактеатов, имитирующей аверс солида императора Анастасия; подражания, сочетающей аверсы солидов византийских императов Фоки и Ираклия; трёх бухархудатских дирхемов; а также китайских монет, включая клад из 22 монет династии Цин середины XIX в. Кроме того, результаты исследования демонстрируют необходимость междисциплинарного подхода к нумизматическому материалу при изучении политической, экономической и культурной истории Центральной Азии. Анализ подтверждает роль Тараза как торгово-политического центра, обеспечивавшего взаимодействие кочевых и оседлых культур вдоль трансевразийских маршрутов.
